The CMP is dedicated to providing the technology and training to indigenous and campesino communities in Chiapas and Guerrero, giving voice to the voiceless and helping to fortify a network of popular media projects throughout Mexico.
The CMP is supported through a small number of foundation grants, a direct mail program, video sales and university presentations. Individual support has been crucial to the success of the CMP and fundraising is a constant issue for us. We appreciate interested individuals who might wish to collaborate, and can offer new fundraising strategies.
Since 1998 the CMP has received funding from the following Foundations: The Peace Development Fund, The Funding Exchange, The US/Mexico Fund for Culture, Vanguard Foundation, Riverside Sharing Fund, Goldman Environmental Foundation, Chace Fund, Solidago Foundation, Daniele Agostino Foundation, Joshua Mailman Foundation, Angeles Arrien Foundation for Cross-Cultural Education and Research, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
